Are you a detail-oriented, organized individual with a passion for healthcare? We are currently seeking a Surgery Coordinator to join our team at Windom Area Health in Windom, MN.

Location: Windom, MN

Wage scale: $18.83 - $26.36/hr *Rates offered will reflect applicable experience.

Windom Area Health is seeking a full-time (0.8 FTE) Surgery Coordinator to support our surgical services team. This role is responsible for coordinating surgical schedules and serving as a key communication link between patients, providers, and staff. The Surgery Coordinator will assist with patient scheduling, pre- and post-operative instructions, and maintaining organized records to support quality care. Qualified candidates should have strong administrative and organizational skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with computer systems are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a healthcare-related program or certification (such as CNA, LPN, or medical secretary/medical office specialist) is preferred. Previous experience in healthcare scheduling, surgical services, or a related administrative role preferred. Schedule is 8am-4:30 Monday – Friday.
