Sterilization Technician Job Description

Do you have a passion for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and safety in a healthcare setting? Windom Area Health is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Sterilization Technician to join our team in Windom, MN. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our facility by maintaining and sterilizing medical equipment and instruments to prevent the spread of infection.

Location: Windom, MN

Pay Range: $18.83 - $26.36/hr *Rates offered will reflect applicable experience.

Windom Area Health is seeking a .7 FTE Sterilization Technician to join our surgery team. The Sterilization Technician will play a crucial role in assisting with the sterilization of medical instruments and equipment and be responsible for ensuring compliance and upholding our commitment to patient safety. Responsibilities will include assisting with basic preoperative and postoperative patient care and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure efficient flow of information and materials. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a CNA, MA, or Certification of Sterile Processing Technician preferred. Hours will be day shift with no call. Benefit eligible!
